Japanese designer Junko Shimada has been known to never look back and instead forge ahead with her independence toward her craft. Inspiration for FW16 came from her love of Scottish and Irish folklore as well as traditional British fabrics and colors. Always a flare for the dramatic, she also is fond of actresses who share a wild and charismatic side - this yin/yang that is found in such personalities is something that Shimada translates into her pairing of fabrics and its applications.
