Holidays at Bacchus Lounge

The holidays can be a really busy time and it’s so easy to get caught up in the rush. Given past experience, my friend Lyndi Barrett of Stylecalling.com and I decided this year we were going to truly partake in the holiday spirit. It was important that while it can be so busy, we take time for ourselves and enjoy what the holidays can bring: special cocktails, food menus, and of course, opportunities to catch up surrounded by beautiful seasonal decor. This brings us to Bacchus Lounge in the Wedgewood Hotel in downtown Vancouver. For me, personally, this spot holds a special place in my heart. It is the location where Keith and I had our very first date. The Wedgewood is a beautiful boutique hotel and Bacchus Lounge is a legendary spot often frequented by many of Vancouver’s brightest legal minds given the Law Courts are situated across the street from the hotel. That said, its warm and cozy lounge attracts all types - from Vancouverites to visitors alike - who are looking to escape and nab one of the most coveted spots in the city: the two tables in front of Bacchus’ well-known fireplace. Of course, there are many other great seats in the lounge as well: in front of the bar and in the next to the windows where you can peek out to the rest of the world. If you’re ever in the downtown Vancouver area, make sure you stop by Bacchus Lounge for a breather. Trust me, you’ll never want to leave.
