In the spirit of my recent gripe about the rapid change in the fashion industry leading to waste and ultimately a tremendous human and environmental cost, I am combing more frequently through thrift shops to add interesting pieces to my wardrobe. I recently found a gorgeous printed rose coat from a local thrift store that was $20. It was in perfect condition, didn't carry that funny smell that you often find in preloved clothing and it was ON POINT. Perfect for Spring this year and I couldn't believe my luck. Faux leather skinnies, jeans, throw it over a dress - its multifunctional ability to complete an outfit made what was already a bargain - a steal.
