Sneaky Sneakers

I love heels just like the next girl, but there are times when as a mom, a crazy busy girl boss and a full-time day job in software, I don't have the luxury of time - nor tolerance for pain - in wearing heels while running around. When I say heels I'm referring to stilettos; I mean, heeled boots don't count, right? 

The point is, there are too many things going on when you're in execution mode. Therefore, flats are generally the order of the day. They're super practical, comfortable and often can be stylish. While I love the look of ballet flats, I'm applauding the huge rise in sneakers - so in this past trip to the Bay Area, I sought out a Designer Show Warehouse (DSW) in Palo Alto and got a deal on a number of sneakers that were so au courant. Even with the exchange it's cheaper to buy them in the US.

Now I wish I brought a larger suitcase!
