Grey is The New Black

It seems these days, everywhere you turn to, you see varying shades of grey. Whether you call it grey, heather, smoke, graphite, cloud, dove grey, steel, pewter, thunder, stone, charcoal, ashen, chrome… grey is definitely the new black. In my closet, I have over a dozen different grey sweaters in multiple knits and styles. It’s so versatile; it can be paired with skinnies in every shade, a billowing skirt, shorts, trousers, pleated skirts, thrown over a shift dress, paired with running tights… the list is endless. I also have grey skinny jeans, shirts, coats, shoes and of course, handbags. You can layer these different pieces with varying shades and it’ll still look well coordinated. It’s perhaps the most versatile color in one’s closet. I can feel intentional with my outfit or simply lazy and it won’t matter. The look still ends up feeling on point.
