During the winter, I find myself drawn back into what I call ‘the Basics’ - black, white and greys. I’ll maybe throw in a pale blue scarf like the one I’m wearing in this look for a “pop” of color - haha. Despite what you normally see me wear on shoots, I’m actually a very minimalist dresser. If you head over to my Pinterest account (don't forget to follow me!) you’ll see my inspo boards are full of outfits that fall into that category. As someone who has a full-time day job, a textile design company (Joue Design), this blog, and a mom of two boys - life is generally pretty crazy. And during the Holidays it can get even crazier. Hence the beauty and simplicity of my everyday wear. You’re gonna see much more of that in 2017, as i reveal the less impressive parts of my closet that bear no resemblance to what I wore in 2016. So more of the true me and less of the ‘inspo’ me.
