Anyone who knows me well is aware that I’m a total watch whore. I love timepieces. There’s something that’s so beautiful about a watch - the one piece of jewelry that combines form and function. You’ll always find one on my wrist.

Over time, I’ve collected numerous time pieces in myriad designs. One thing is consistent among all the pieces in my collection however - they’re all classic designs. Unlike handbags and other accessories and clothing, I don’t rotate my watch to suit the seasons. For me, a watch is something that needs to stand the test of time - and trend. It’s got to look great on my wrist, whether I’m wearing my signature grey sweater and jeans or a little black dress.

I recently discovered JORD Watches that are made from 100% natural wood and powered by Swiss movement. Each watch is handcrafted in the United States in St. Louis, MI. My JORD Watch is part of the minimalist Frankie series, made of a deeply toned sandalwood and a solid smoke face highlighted by rose gold numerals and demarcations. The front of the watch is made of crystal. The back of each watch is engraved with the date of manufacture and every watch is numbered.

Considering the quality of this watch, where it was made and the fact it contains Swiss movement, its US$189 price tag is a bargain. I absolutely love mine and have worn it every day since I got it.
