From Zero to Hero in 20 days

Star Wars: The Force Awakens made history this week when it took over Avatar has the number one movie of all time in the US. It took Star Wars all of 20 days to bypass what Avatar made in its lifetime US$760 million. Twenty days. 

And it has yet to debut in China. I can't even imagine what the final global tally will be when all is said and done. 

The film has catapulted its young - and unknown - British stars, Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) to immense fame (and possibly fortune) for many years to come - especially since the next (eighth) instalment of the film comes in 2017. 

And while we love seeing them on the big screen, it's still kind of cool seeing pictures of them offscreen, candid, where they're still not quite recognizable. Yet.
